The newly revised Power Source Facilitator Manual is the product of a multi-year NIH funded randomized controlled trial conducted on the adolescent units of Rikers Island Correctional Facility, The program is designed to be used with youth aged 14-19 in a variety of settings. 

The Facilitator Manual is designed to assist staff and clinicians in implementing the Power Source Program in a more structured way, either individually or in groups. It includes a robust theoretical review, as well as tools and tips to assist facilitators in program implementation, regardless of previous training or background. The PS Manual includes 15 comprehensive modules targeting needs, risk factors, and opportunities for growth and resiliency-building that affect high-risk and trauma-impacted youth. A short-term intervention can also be offered using the first 3 modules.
