Prison Volunteer Training Program

An Emotional Literacy Intervention based on the Houses of Healing Program

Thank you for your interest in the Houses of Healing Prison Volunteer Training Program. This free online training will give you a solid overview of the core concepts and teachings in Houses of Healing. Houses of Healing volunteers often play a pivotal role in helping incarcerated men and women turn a corner and truly alter the course of their lives. We consistently hear from volunteers that the experience of facilitating Houses of Healing is a rich and rewarding one. We expect that you will find it deeply rewarding as well.

The training consists of:

  • Viewing the Houses of Healing Video Series online. (4 hours and 15 minutes) Access to the video series is provided for participants in the volunteer training program for free. The required password is hohtraining   To view click here.  The videos made available here are solely for this training.  If you wish to utilize these for any other purpose they can be purchased click here.
