EQ2 Joins the CEBC Program Registry
The Lionheart Foundation is excited to share that EQ2 was recently added to the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare (CEBC) program registry.

The CEBC maintains the largest database of scientifically-reviewed child welfare programs in the field, used by state agencies and county governments, as well as public and private organizations across the country. The CEBC program registry is designed to help professionals evaluate and implement the best child welfare practices for their organization’s needs.
EQ2’s inclusion in the CEBC registry is an indicator of the growing awareness that in order to effectively serve youth, systems must also be equipped with high-impact programming to support the social and emotional needs of the workforce. The EQ2 Program is uniquely designed for direct care staff serving trauma-impacted youth. The program helps staff build the self- and co-regulation skills required to create healing communities for all. EQ2 integrates cognitive-behavioral approaches, mindfulness skill-building, and restorative Circles to support the delivery of trauma-informed care and help reduce staff stress and burnout.
Inclusion in the CEBC registry is an important milestone for EQ2 in our effort to share these high-impact resources with agencies across the US.
We look forward to continuing to build EQ2’s science-base as we bring the program to diverse youth-serving systems across the US.
