The
Power Source Video Series The Power Source Video Series provides a dynamic interactive tool for working with highly at-risk youth. From the authors of the acclaimed POWER SOURCE book and facilitator’s manual, this seven part series addresses the core components of the program. The series depicts at-risk youth gaining insight into their lives and finding more adaptive solutions to deal with the issues that have led them to high-risk behavior. The videos both broaden and intensify the impact of the Power Source curricula and serve as a resource to augment other curricula serving this population. The first two videos produced in the series are “Risk-Taking” and “Meditation”. These two topics are at the core of The Power Source Program. It is, most often, negative risk-taking that brings at-risk youth to the attention of authorities and frequently into the criminal justice system. Meditation is a powerful tool to help youth gain control over their emotions and prepare them for making constructive choices about their future.
The Power Source Video Series is produced by Bethany Casarjian, Ph.D. and Robin Casarjian, M.A. of the Lionheart Foundation in partnership with Jack Brotman of Jack Brotman Video Productions. Each video is $75 (includes P&H) The Power Source Video Series: Now available Available in December, 2007 Available in September, 2008 Dates of release - To be announced |
