| Bethany Casarjian
received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia
University. From 1994 to 2004 she has worked with at-risk youth in the
New York City area. While completing a post-doctoral fellowship at The
Children's Village, a residential treatment center in Dobbs Ferry, NY, Dr. Casarjian co-created the TRIP program (Treatment for Residents with Incarcerated Parents), which provides psychological services, including family therapy, for children and their incarcerated parents within prison facilities. She also served as Clinical Director of The Heritage School in East Harlem and Adjunct Professor, Columbia University. Dr. Casarjian has worked at various agencies with adolescents involved with the juvenile justice system. She is clinical director of The National Emotional Literacy Project for Youth-at-Risk. |
